For the last seven years I have built front ends for a living, and I still do. Lately I also make short films.
Front-end development is most of it. I build the product from the interface back, design the system it runs on, and keep it shipping. React and TypeScript most days, the full stack when the job needs it.
From 2020 to 2026 I was a senior engineer at New American Funding, and from 2022 the primary front-end engineer on its partner platform: I owned the design system, the server-state layer and auth, and shipped a company-wide redesign and an API migration without taking the live app down.
